The Band

Eight experienced and skilled musicians, playing great standards of American Swing, bringing alive the era of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington and Count Basie. This is the music loved by the generation that saw it born, and rediscovered now by a new generation eager to listen, to dance, and to experience the romance and energy of this authentic American music.

Java Swing Band at a wedding or party establishes a sense of celebration. There is an elegance associated with swing music, reminiscent of the thirties and forties, when styles were sophisticated, and swing music a central part of many weddings. Java Swing Band is open for bookings. As musicians, we are long-time enthusiasts for Swing, we love to play, and we love an audience to share the music and good humor we generate.

We are ambassadors, on or off Cape Cod, when it comes to striking the right tempo for the fun of dancing. Delight in our romantic soft and smooth swing, driving jump music, waltzes, foxtrots and Latin cha-chas, tangos and rumbas. The rhythm of the night is Java Swing and Java Swing is a class act!
